This popular play tool has been loved for generations worldwide regardless of age and gender, due to legos also being familiar to the older age groups.

Product Design Size; 200mm × 200mm × 25mm Subject; Leaf tile Clay; Super white Product method; Slip casting Celsius; 1250°C Enamel; Engobe(colour), Glaze; color Plasticity method; Oxidation plasticity This tile was designed to simplistically express the ripple formed by a leaf on a pond’s surface. The leaf veins and ripple were a bit exaggerated and I experimented the design with different colours and arrangements.

Craft Size; 500mm × 500mm × 450mm Subject; Tea table Clay; Ceradon cray Product method; Coiling Celsius; 1250°C Enamel; Engobe(colour), Milk-white Plasticity method; Oxidation plasticity The lotus flower patterns on the tea table were depicted into realistic and simple forms through à-jour technique and embossed patterns respectively. The lotus symbolizes the land of paradise and has a tendency to not bloom in secular environments.

The theme of the design is ‘four seasons’ because I wanted students to feel the comfort of nature within a space they can relax.
