Product Design Size; 200mm × 200mm × 25mm Subject; Leaf tile Clay; Super white Product method; Slip casting Celsius; 1250°C Enamel; Engobe(colour), Glaze; color Plasticity method; Oxidation plasticity This tile was designed to simplistically express the ripple formed by a leaf on a pond’s surface. The leaf veins and ripple were a bit exaggerated and I experimented the design with different colours and arrangements.

The lotus symbolizes the land of paradise and has a tendency to not bloom in secular environments.

The theme of the design is ‘four seasons’ because I wanted students to feel the comfort of nature within a space they can relax.
